A crane brings forth a metal box through the trees Everybody heads up, heads up, keep it clear Okay, pushing team move in here I want tasers on full charge, ready, step back in and push A beep and we're locked, Jophery, raise the gate A creature shrieks and shoves the box away Jophery gets knocked off and pulled right in Block the opening, don't let her out We tased the creature, she looked me in the eye shoot her, shoot her and Jophery was lost from my grip
2.
Gennaro on a raft, being pulled onto land Hola, me amigo, let me give you a hand What's that I hear? Hammond's not here? We're facing a lawsuit by the family of that worker The accident has raised some serious safety questions I had to promise to conduct a very thorough on site inspection Hammond hates inspections, they slow everything down They'll pull the funding and that'll slow him down even more If two experts sign off, the insurance guys'll back off Ian Malcolm's too trendy, they want Alan Grant Juanito gestures for the amber in his handa You'll never get Grant out of Montana Trapped in amber, a mosquito Held between Juanito's fingers Grant is like me, he's a digger
3.
The Badlands 06:27
Velociraptor excavations Dr. Grant, Dr. Sattler, we're ready again A bullet is loaded and blasted into the ground Radar is shot and image is bounced A few more years and we won't have to dig anymore On computer screen, nine foot velociraptor Look at the half-moon shaped bones in the wrists No wonder these guys learned how to fly Look at the pubic bone, turned backwards Just like a bird Look at the vertebra, full of air sacks and hollows Just like a bird That doesn't look very scary More like a six foot turkey Imagine yourself in the cretaceous period Your first look at this turkey as you enter a clearing Moves like a bird, bobbing its head You keep still, maybe its vision is based on movement You stare and it just stares back And from the side, comes the attack From the other two raptors you never even knew were there Pack hunter attack patterns coordinated with care And it slashes you with its six inch retractable claw Doesn't bother to bite your jugular like lion, nah It slashes at you here, or here Or maybe across the belly, spilling your intestines The point is you are alive when they start to ingest So you know, just try to show a little respect
4.
A Visitor 05:45
A helicopter descends, blowing dust over the site Cover the site, cover the dig Grant runs towards a trailer, punching at jeans To find a man rummaging through the mini-fridge Who's the jerk? What the hell do you think you are doing in here? Hammond pops the cork of champagne to cheers Grant dodges the cork, hey, we were saving that For today, I guarantee it Who in God's name do you think you are? John Hammond, and I'm delighted to finally meet you doctor We should have a drink, I'll get right to the point I own an island off the coast of Costa Rica Spent the last five years setting up a biological preserve And we'll open next year, but your endorsement is big It's right up your alley, come down for the weekend And I'll compensate you by fully funding your dig This is an unusual time For a further three years Where's the plane?
5.
Subterfuge 04:40
Looking like a tourist at a restaurant in San Jose Nedry yells Dodgson, you shouldn't use my name Dodgson, Dodgson, we've got Dodgson here Looks around, see? Nobody cares Briefcase on table, seven hundred fifty thousand fifty thousand more for each viable embryo Can of shaving cream, the bottom screws open It's even alright if customs is scoping There's enough coolant for thirty-six hours Back here on the east dock, 7 o'clock tomorrow An eighteen minute window to beat security And that's ten years of research for your company Waiter drops the check for Nedry's meal next to his plate Don't get cheap on me Dodgson, that was Hammond's mistake
6.
Isla Nublar 02:33
You'll have to get used to Dr. Malcolm He suffers from a deplorable excess of personality Especially for a mathematician Chaotician, chaotician, actually John doesn't subscribe to chaos Especially since one has a say in his little science project Are you familiar with chaos theory? Strange attractors? Dr. Sattler, I refuse to believe you aren't familiar With the concept of attraction The helicopter lands Hammond smiles at his creation Two jeeps pull up Waiting to take them to their destination
7.
The fifty miles of perimeter fence are in place? From the rear jeep, asks Gennaro's face And the concrete moats, and motion sensor tracking systems? Donald, dear boy, relax. Try and enjoy yourself Let's get this straight, it's not a weekend excursion This is a serious investigation of the stability of your island Your investors, whom I represent, are deeply concerned In 48 hours, if they're not convinced, I'll shut you down, John In 48 hours, I'll be accepting your apologies All right, slow down. They look at some leaves Alan, this species of veriforman, it shouldn't be here This thing has been extinct since the Cretaceous Period Grant reaches down and turns Ellie's head Ellie goes stone silent in shock, stands up and removes her sunglasses A massive brachiosaurus towers over the trees Look at that, it's, it's a dinosaur Hammond chuckles to himself, walks past the jeep You did it, you crazy son of a bitch, you did it Brachiosaur rises on its rear legs Taking a bite of some leaves from the top of a tree Drops back down, shaking the ground Gennaro's face, we're gonna make a fortune with this place We clocked the t-rex at 32 miles per hour You said you got a t-rex? Yes, we have a t-rex Grant is completely overwhelmed and he sits down Dr. Grant, Dr. Sattler, welcome to Jurassic Park A herd of brachiosaur in the distance now Drinking from a pond, a group of parasauralophus They're moving in herds, they do move in herds How did you do this?
8.
The most advanced amusement park in the entire world Incorporating all the latest technologies And I'm not talking just about rides, everybody has rides We have living biological attractions so astounding that they'll capture the imagination of the entire planet Hammond leads them onwards To what appears to be a theater Several seats with protective bars Like roller coaster chairs in front of a screen Another Hammond arrives on the screen Oh yes, I've got lines, well fine, how did I get here? Well let me show you, first, I need a drop of blood Relax John, it's all part of the miracle of cloning On screen, a second John appears, followed by more And an animated swirl pops up from his finger's pore Well Mr. DNA, where did you come from anyway? Just one drop of blood contains billions of strands of DNA A DNA strand like me is a blueprint for building a living thing Sometimes animals that went extinct millions of years ago Left their blueprints behind for us to find Where to look, is all that we had to know One hundred million years ago There were mosquitos, just like today And just like today, they fed on the blood of animals Even dinosaurs Sometimes after biting a dinosaur The mosquito would get stuck in sap The sap would get hard and become fossilized Preserving the mosquito inside This fossilized sap, which we call amber Waited millions of years with the mosquito inside Until Jurassic Park scientists came along And extracted the preserved blood And Bingo! Dino DNA Since it's so old, it's full of holes That's where our geneticists take over Supercomputers break down the strand in minutes And show the gaps in the DNA sequence We use the complete DNA of a frog to fill in the holes To complete the code Now, we can hatch a baby dinosaur
9.
Making their way to the genetics lab Scientists bring dinosaurs back into existence PA reminder, the boat will be leaving at 1900 hours All personnel at the dock, at 1845, no exceptions An egg shell shakes violently and begins to crack They imprint on the first creature they come in contact I've been present for the birth of every creature on the isle Surely not the ones that have bred in the wild Actually they can't breed in the wild Population control is a security precaution All the animals are female, we control their chromosomes We deny them the extra hormone John the kind of control you're attempting is not possible The history of evolution has taught us life will not be contained Life breaks free, expands to new places Crashes through barriers, painfully, even dangerously You're implying that a group entirely female will breed No, I'm simply saying that life, uh, finds a way Grant looks at another baby with troubling suspicion What species is this? It's a velociraptor The small dinosaur in his hand will one day grow up To be an incredible killer
10.
Feeding Time 05:03
A cow gets lowered, followed by horrible noise The trees in the pen shake violently They should all be destroyed Aha, Robert Muldoon, my game warden from Kenya A bit of an alarmist, but knows the most about raptors They're lethal at eight months, and I do mean lethal Cheetah speed, fifty or sixty miles per hour Astonishing jumpers and extreme intelligence Problem solving intelligence, especially the big one We bred eight originally, but when she came in She took over the pride and killed all but two others When she looks at you, she's working things out That's why we have to feed them like this The fences are electrified though, right? Yes, but they never attack the same place twice They test the fences for weaknesses Systematically, they remember The harness is lifted and covered with blood The harness is destroyed, nothing left of the cow Yes, well, who's hungry?
11.
Don't you see the danger, John, inherent in what you're doing here? Genetic powers, the most awesome force this planet has ever seen But you wield it like a kid who's found his dad's gun I'll tell you the problem with the scientific power you're using here It didn't require any discipline to attain it You read what others had done and you took the next step You didn't earn the knowledge, so you don't take any responsibility You stood on the shoulders of geniuses To accomplish something as fast as you could Before you even knew what you had, you patented it And packaged it and slapped it on a plastic lunch box And now you are selling it I don't think you are giving us our due credit Our scientists have done things which nobody has ever done before Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied over whether they could They did not stop to think if they should This isn't some species obliterated by deforestation Or the building of a dam Dinosaurs had their shot And nature selected them for extinction What's so great about discovery? It's a violent, penetrative act that scars what it explores How can you know anything about an extinct ecosystem? Therefore, How can you assume you can control it? You have plants in this building that are poisonous You pick them because they look good But these are wild, untamed creatures who have no idea what century they're in And will defend themselves, violently, if necessary I don't believe it, you're meant to defend me against these characters And the only person on my side is the blood-sucking lawyer
12.
The Tour 01:39
Grandpa Kids Careful with the old man We missed you
13.
Two ford explorers straddle a metal rail With a faint electronic hum, they follow the trail Hammond wishes fun, I'll be watching back in control Malcolm declares, with Dr. Sattler he'll roll Tim to Grant, I read your book And follows to the rear car Listen which car were you planning on Whichever one you are Jurassic Park control room, several computer terminals A large, glass map lit up like a Christmas tree But the place is unfinished, with unattached cables Construction materials and ladders scattered about Chaos with technicians making last minute adjustments National weather service tracks storm about 75 miles west Ray Arnold, chronic worrier, chain-smoker, is seated Punches button on the console, hold on to your butts Explorers start forward along the electrical path Gennaro, Tim, Lex, in front, Grant, Ellie, Malcolm, in back They pass through two enormous, primitive gates On either side, torches ablaze The accident took place in a restricted area How can the safety of public be called into question? To the right a herd of dilophosaurus Gennaro keeps talking, trying to assure us One of the earliest carnivores, dilophosaurus, is poisonous Spitting venom at prey causing blindness, says the tour voice The cars move on as they roll past Their headlights are on, even in the day time
14.
Item 151 on today's glitch list Vehicle headlights are not responding Dennis, our lives are in your hands and you have butterfingers You know anyone who can network eight machines? And debug two million lines of code on my salary? I will not get drawn into another financial debate, Dennis I'll debug the tour program when they get back, okay? Okay, it'll eat a lot of computer cycles There's a finite amount of memory, we can't use it for everything Quiet, all of you They're approaching the tyrannosaur paddock
15.
T-Rex? 03:04
God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs God creates man, man destroys God Man creates dinosaurs Dinosaurs eat man, woman inherits the earth In the middle of a field, a small cage rises into view It's a goat, one leg chained to a stake What's gonna happen to the goat? He's gonna eat the goat? What's the matter kid? You've never had lamb chops? T-rex doesn't want to be fed, he wants to hunt You can't just suppress 65 million years of gut instinct The goat waits and waits and tugs on it's chain Until finally, the goat lays down
16.
You do plan to have dinosaurs on your dinosaur tour? Hammond shakes his head, I really hate that man The tyrannosaur doesn't obey set pattern or schedule It's the essence of chaos Unpredictability in complex systems Only principle is the butterfly effect Butterfly flaps its wings in peking And in central park you get rain instead of sunshine Here, give me your glass of water Malcolm takes Ellie's hand in his own grace Watch the way the drop of water falls on your hand Now, I'm going to do the exact same thing with the exact same place Which way will the drop roll? Over which finger? Or down the thumb? Or to the other side? Or the same way? It changed and here is the principle of tiny variations The orientations of the hairs on your hand The amount of blood distending in your vessels Imperfections on the skin, microscopic Grant throws the door open and bolts out the jeep There, there see? I'm right again No one could have predicted Dr. Grant would leap Ellie jumps out too, Tim goes with them See, here I am now, by myself Talking to myself, that's chaos theory What the hell am I doing here? I'm the only one who knows what's going on
17.
Triceratops 04:07
The cars roll on slowly, empty Their doors hanging open How many times did I tell you we needed locking mechanisms on the vehicle doors? A triceratops, lying on its side Doesn't move, just breathes, blowing up dust Grant walks to the animal and strokes its head The most beautiful thing he ever saw, he said The animal's purple tongue droops limply from its mouth From broken blisters, a clear liquid leaks Imbalance, disorientation, labored breathing Seems to happen about every six weeks These eyes are dilated, is that West Indian Lilac? Yes, we know they're toxic, but the animals don't eat them Are you sure? Pretty sure There's only one way to be positive I need to see some droppings I have to see the dinosaur's droppings You won't be able to miss them No, you won't be able to miss them
18.
Coming Storm 05:30
A view from the beach, looking out at the ocean The clouds beyond are almost black Storm center hasn't dissipated or changed course We're going to have to cut the tour short (Last shuttle to the dock leaves in five minutes, drop what you're doing and leave now) Triceratops excreta stands at least waist high The enormous spoor, covered in buzzing flies That is one big pile of shit Ellie removes her elbow and hand from it No trace of lilac berries, that is so weird But shows all the signs of melia-toxicity Dennis Nedry typing a series of commands Pointing to 12, a cartoon clock's second hand In the middle of the clock, a dollar sign of green And in red, the word execute appears on his screen Gizzard stones, it explains the periodicity The stones get smooth every six weeks So the animal barfs them up and swallows fresh ones Along with some poisonous berries Storm overhead, thunder booming Doctors, if you please, I have to insist we get moving I'd like to stay with Dr. Harding and finish with the trike They miss each others goodbyes and in this way they say goodbye First raindrop splats Big and fat
19.
Dennis Nedry, upper lip is sweaty Sees the supply boat being buffeted by heavy waves Whisper argues in a phone, the test took twenty No promises, gotta go, be there in ten Anybody want a coke? Something from the machines? I finished debugging the phones, but the system is compiling Minor things may go on and off for a while, simple thing Nedry's finger selects execute on his screen A digital clock begins to tick-tock As he presses start on his stopwatch Music something like the Jeopardy theme Grabs his shaving cream and he leaves Grant and Malcolm are alone Grant is staring out the window Lost, in his thoughts Got any kids? Me? Oh, hell yes, three I love 'em, I love kids, anything at all can and does be He takes a flask from his pocket and unscrews the top Same with wives for that matter Always on the lookout for the future ex-Mrs. Malcolm Embryonic cold storage, two, one Lock panel goes dark and door clunks ajar next Nedry opens the can and takes slides one by one Stegosaurus, apatosaurus, tyrannosaurus rex Arnold stares at his terminal, puzzled Glowing blue and red lines blinking on the screen The door security systems are shutting down Nedry said a few systems would go offline, didn't he?
20.
Shutdown 03:21
Grant and Malcolm's jeep screen goes black, unnoticed By the way, Dr. Sattler, she's not like, available, is she? Oh, I'm sorry, are you two, are? I wish you the best luck Cars stop, lights out, what did I touch? Nedry's jeep splashes up to the front gates Shoves his way through and enters the ground Fences are failing all over the park Find Nedry, check the vending machines Danger: Electrified Fence This door can not be opened when the fence is armed Nedry flips the latch open, no sparks fly Shoves the fence by bare wire, remains unharmed Nedry leans forward squinting to see through his window Rushing into view is a fork in the road as rain flows He jumps on the breaks, too late The jeep careens into a signpost He throws the door open and hurries to the fallen sign Back up, he props the sign, says to the docks Directional arrow swinging helplessly on a nail Soaked and unconvinced, to the left he bails Arnold punches a button, cartoon Nedry is heard Waving his finger, you didn't say the magic word Please, god damn it, I hate this hacker crap Phones are out too, where did the vehicles stop at?
21.
Two Explorers sit still in front of the goat Rear car sits Malcolm and Dr. Grant is soaked Front car, Gennaro, Lex, and Tim Found a heavy duty pair of goggles beneath him Tim puts on the goggles and stares out the back Lex, tapping her hat, Tim, did you feel that? On the dash, cups of water sit in recessed holes The water in the glasses vibrate, making concentric circles M-maybe it's the power trying to come back on Goggles out the side window, the goat is gone Bang on the sunroof, everyone screams It's a bloody goat leg, disembodied Oh Jesus, Jesus, huge claw through the specs Maybe 25 feet tall, stands tyrannosaurus rex Tilts its head back and swallows the goats remainders Gennaro can't even speak and takes off out of the jeep He ducks into an outhouse, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go The fence collapses and t-rex's head swings to and fro Keep absolutely still, its vision's based on movement T-rex checks the back car with its box-like snout Lex inspects a flashlight and turns it on Rex, drawn by the light, opens its mouth and attacks Tim and Lex, inside, pinned by rex upside down Dr. Grant waves a flare and successfully distracts Malcolm too, with a flare, runs toward the outhouse Rex sees the movement and launches Malcolm with its snout Smashing through the roof rex seems to find something Grant hears Gennaro's screams quickly followed by nothing Grant scrambles to the kids, it can't see us if we don't move They're trapped next to a cliff and t-rex still looms Grant grabs a cable, slick with rain, all he can do is hang Vehicle now over the edge, just teetering Lex grabs Grant's throat, choking him for dear life She grabs a cable, but the car falls with Timmy inside The car crunches into the leafy top of a tree T-rex stares down, but they are now out of reach
22.
Debugging 02:12
John Hammond is livved, I will kill Dennis Nedry The game show music is louder, faster, and annoying Arnold's cigarette is practically burning his lips It's all pretty standard stuff, until this How many lines of code, about two million Robert would you be kind enough to bring back my grandchildren I'm going with him John stares out the window, he's gone pale and sweaty I can't get Jurassic Park back online without Nedry
23.
Rain continues to pour, shoulda been there by now Hauls the jeep around a corner, checks his watch, looks down There's a white, wood, guard rail fence and he slams it Drops the car in reverse, the wheels spin, god damn it He loses his balance and falls on his buns Where are my glasses? I can't afford new ones From a distance, there's a hoot and movement in the bushes Around a tree and to the other side, a figure wooshes That's nice, gotta go, I'm getting out of here Secures a winch and freezes, there's something at his rear He turns around slowly and at about four feet tall A dilophosaurus, brilliantly colored and spotted like an owl Oh, uh, nice boy, nice boy, okay, run along I don't have anything for you, go on Go home, dinner time, are you hungry? They'll feed you, go boy, girl, whatever Nedry looks around, nice juicy stick, fetch Dilophosaurus, in the spirit of game, but not object Lame brain, what's the matter with you? Walnut brain, extinct kangaroo, hope I run over you It's near the top, when dilophosaurus suddenly hops Nedry startled, loses his balance and flops The animal hisses and the fan around its neck flares It spits a big glob of something on Dennis' top And his face, and it hurts like hell Blinded, Nedry staggers for his jeep The shaving cream flies out his pocket and down the hill He feels his way in, another hoot from inside the jeep Dilophosaurus in the passenger seat And the thing pounces as Nedry shrieks
24.
Tree Rescue 03:02
The rain has stopped, Grant and Lex beaten, bloody Ford Explorer stuck in the top of a tree Around Grant's waist, Lex sobs and clenches The Explorer falls a few feet lower in the branches A good climbing tree, Grant comes to the car and looks in With a tear and bloody face, I threw up, admits Tim Just like coming out of a tree house, never look down The car begins to shift, oh no, go Tim, go now Half climbing, half falling, the car right behind them They jump the last six feet and Grant covers Tim The jeep falls on top, amazingly unhurt, they look up, confused They're inside the jeep again, saved by the sunroof Might be kinda slow, but can't be more than four miles I'd hoped the t-rex finished feeding by now But let's not kid ourselves Did you know a carnivore can eat up to 25 percent of its body weight in one sitting? So it's probably ready for the main course
25.
Wreckage 02:59
Muldoon and Ellie race down the park road Oh, God, where did the other car go? Walking toward the wreckage, nobody's there With the fences out, the t-rex could be anywhere A moaning sound comes from the restroom wreck A semi-conscious Malcolm lies on his back Outward at a strange angle, his right ankle is bent Remind me to thank John for a lovely weekend T-rex roars closer, can we chance moving him? Please, chance it. Where are the kids? Lex, Tim Dr. Sattler, I've seen a lot of animal attacks People just disappear, no trace, no blood Ellie desperately searches the ground for tracks And finally finds their footprints, thank God
26.
The Chase 04:02
Malcolm looks down to t-rex footprint filled with water The puddle vibrates rhythmically, anybody hear that? Ellie follows the footprints in the jungle and disappears An impact tremor is what it is, I'm fairly alarmed here Gotta move, gotta get out of here, let's go, we gotta go We gotta get out of here right now, let's hurry, let's get out of here The booming is louder now and faster, much faster They get into the jeep, Muldoon in the driver's seat The tyrannosaur smashes out the jungle and onto the road Runs straight at them, 30 miles an hour, go, go go go, go go Muldoon turns the jeep over and slams it into gear Ellie checks the side mirror, objects are closer than they appear They crash through a branch and bounce into neutral Engine races, tyrannosauus closes in and roars One final lunge, t-rex crunches into the rear quarter panel Think they'll have that on the tour? Do you think they'll have that on the tour?
27.
You both look pretty tired, we ought to find some place to sleep A roar in the distance, like now, like this tree I hate trees, they don't bother me Yeah, you weren't in that last one It's an incredible view and with a full moon Dozens of sauropod heads tower over the park Hey, those are brontosauruses, i mean brachiosauruses It's okay to call them brontosaurs, it's a great name It means thunder lizard Listen to that, they're singing I could swear that sounds suspiciously like a mating call Grant hoots himself, imitating the pack Five or six turn their heads and immediately hoot back No, stop, don't let the monsters come over They're just animals and those are herbivores That means they only eat vegetables But I think they'd make an exception for you Oh, I hate the other kind, well, the other kind They're just doing what they do Dorkasaurus, straight-a-brainiac Could you guys possibly cool that? What do you call a blind dinosaur? A do-you-think-he-saurus What do you call a blind dinosaur's dog? A do-you-think-he-saurus rex What if the dinosaur comes back while we're all asleep? I'll stay awake All night? All night
28.
Restaurant 02:33
Ellie enters a restaurant, following a flickering light Hammond sits at a table with a dish of ice cream Malcolm's okay, I gave him a shot of morphine You know, the first attraction I ever built was a flea circus Clown fleas, fleas on parade, high wire fleas With this place I wanted to show something real they could see Hiring Nedry was a mistake We're over dependent on automation, I see that now But that's all correctable for the next time around John, you're still building on that flea circus illusion Well, once we have control, control? You never had control I was overwhelmed by the power of this place So, I too made a mistake I didn't have enough respect for that power and it's out now You're sitting here, trying to pick up the pieces John, there's nothing worth picking up The only thing that matters now are the people we love The ice cream, it's good Spared no expense
29.
The sun comes up over Jurassic Park Lex and Tim, curled asleep under Dr. Grant's arms A brachiosaur's head pushes into their branches Go away, it's okay, it's okay, it's a brachiosaur Veggiesaurus, Lex, veggiesaurus Grant grabs another branch, come here boy, I mean girl The animal gets the branch and starts a tug of war Having a fun time with a brachiosaur Tim reaches out petting the dino head while it chews Lex, think of it as a big cow without hooves Its nose is running, looks like it has a cold Lex edges forward and barely touches its nose And in vast explosion, it sneezes And Lex falls back Dripping wet from head to toe, God bless you
30.
Grant is crouching with something in the palm of his hand You know what this is? A dinosaur egg, the dinosaurs are breeding But my grandpa said all the dinosaurs were woman Amphibian DNA The film said they used frog DNA to fill in the gene sequence gaps Some West African frogs have been known to spontaneously change sex from male to female in a single sex environment Malcolm was right, look, life found a way
31.
Calculated risk is the only option left to us We will never find the command Nedry used, he covered his tracks And I think it's obvious he is not coming back So, shutting down the system All the systems will come back on their original start up modes Theoretically, but it may not come back at all What about lysine contingency? Absolutely out of the question To prevent the spread of the animals is its intention How soon before they become comatose? Totally painless, unconsciousness and they die How long before they slip into unconsciousness? About seven days, more or less People are dying, please shut down the system Arnold and a red metal box on the wall A row of four switches inside and he flips them Every monitor, terminal, and light to darkness fall About thirty seconds they sit in silence You're alright, John, just no intelligence You have think intelligence, you don't see consequence You're good at getting answers, but don't know the right questions Ian Yes? Shut up Arnold reflips the switch, hold on to your butts It's okay, look, see that? System ready The shut down system must have tripped the circuit breakers Out in the maintenance shack, three minutes and I'll have the power back Just to be safe, everybody in the emergency bunker until Arnold gets back
32.
Gallimimus 03:00
I'm tired, I'm hungry, when I get back I'm gonna have peanuts Visitor's center just about a mile beyond that rise Animal cry, what is that? Gallimimus Dozens of them flocking their way right before their eyes Look at the wheeling, the uniform direction change Like a flock of birds evading a predator Soon enough, oh shit, the very familiar roar The three of them take off across the meadow range Grant scans the trees for any sign of t-rex And then it bursts out and sinks teeth in gallimimus neck T-rex makes the kill in cloud of dust and debris Staring in wonder, Tim and Grant half rise to their feet I wanna go now Watch how it eats You'll never look at birds the same way again Let's go, okay, keep low, follow me
33.
Just A Delay 03:44
This is just a delay, that's all this is Disneyland had delays, nothing worked when it was newest But John, if Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down The pirates don't eat the tourists I can't wait anymore, something went wrong I'm going to get the power back on Let's not be hasty, he's only been gone Muldoon to Ellie, I'm going with you Well, you know, I really should be the one to go Well, because you're a, I'm a We'll discuss sexism in survival situations when I get back You, just take me through, step by step, I'm on channel two
34.
The base of an electrical fence, twenty feet high You guys think you can make it? It's a bit of a climb Grant pokes at it with a stick and no sparks fly He lays both hands on the cable, he shakes and screams He stops, turns and smiles wickedly That's not funny The t-rex roars and both kids leap to their feet
35.
The Shed 02:32
Muldoon and Ellie emerge into a slightly open area The raptor pen stands silently and they notice a hole The metal is twisted as if gnawed Oh my God, aw, God I can see the shed from here, we can make it if we run No we can't, why not? Because we're being hunted Muldoon raises his weapon slowly to his shoulder Run towards the shed, I've got her Ellie runs as fast as she possibly can She reaches the door and behind her, it slams I'm in, Mr. Arnold? Mr. Arnold? Ahead of you should be a metal stairway, go down it After 20 or 30 feet, you'll come to a T, take a left Going down the stairs, okay, damn it, dead end There should be a large bundle of pipes leading the same way Following the piping, look for a metal grate Okay, I'm following the tubing, I'm going down a passage way Could you guys talk a little bit to me? Okay, I see the gray box, it says high voltage Now Ellie, you have to hand pump the primer to give you a charge Under the words, contact position, there's a round green button Did I do it? Is the power back on? Now Ellie, the red buttons turn on individual park systems Ellie punches, they light up, it's marked perimeter fence
36.
Easy Catch 01:17
A warning light flashes, Tim freezes on the fence You have to let go, I'm gonna count to three Do as he says, the power's coming back Easy catch, easy catch, stop, you're scaring me The fence hums and comes alive Tim is thrown from the fence Slams into Grant and falls to the ground Tim, you're okay, you're okay He's not breathing, Tim?
37.
Dead Arm 02:24
Ellie watches the banks of lights turn on in rows She follows the light and sees a raptor behind the controls It slashes but gets stuck in the pipes on the floor Ellie shouts and falls back on the other side of a mesh door A dead arm falls on her shoulder as she tries to hold Stuck in the tangle of pipes is what's left of Arnold Raptor comes at her again, she takes off running as fast as she can Her headset dangling, flashlight dragging on its cord She reaches the stairs and hits them hard Hearing clicking and clacking behind her As it too scrambles upstairs, she doesn't look back She reaches the top, opens the door, hurls herself outside

Clever Girl 01:45
Robert Muldoon creeps slowly tracking his prey He can see a trace of raptor's flesh, grey Thinks he has a moment, clicks his gun into place A snake slithers past what looks like the iris of a flower The flower blinks, it's the eye of a raptor Muldoon sees it and raises his gun The raptor rises and hisses instead of run His finger tenses on the trigger, but a terrible thought is captured Clever girl With a roar another raptor flashes out of nowhere The gun blasts and the raptor slashes Through Muldoon's midsection

Deserted visitor's center, hello? no one answers Enter restaurant, I'm gonna have to get a doctor Tim has recovered from the shock for the most Big Tim, the human piece of toast Lex and Tim, dive in, all you can eat buffet Tim looks up and is struck by the expression on Lex's face Jell-O is quivering in Lex's shaking hands Behind Tim is a raptor in its hunting stance Lex pulls the shiny metal door shut as quiet as she can Helps Tim down an aisle and they hide at the end Raptor head pops up, steaming up the window But can see a part of Tim that is not hidden Grant walks quickly, not sure where he's going He turns and sees Ellie shouting too faint to understand He furrows his brow and walks toward her, unknowing She shouts louder and he makes out her shout, run Where are the kids? Grant racks the bolts on a shotgun It's just the two raptors, contained is the third one Yes, unless, they figured out how to open doors

Raptor stares down the door handle, cocking its head Reaches out toward the handle with one clawed hand Tim and Lex stare in shock as the handle starts to turn The door opens and first raptor looks over the kitchen land A second raptor joins and they split down different aisles A raptor tail smacks pots and pans on the two childs The kids keep moving, but brush against some utensils Both raptors turn, one jumps, but makes more sound accidentally Floor raptor about to turn where sits exhausted Tim But Lex taps a spoon on the floor away to distract them Steel cabinet behind her, she crawls inside silently Tim sees a walk-in freezer with pin-locking handle Raptor rounds a corner and sees reflection of Lex and She tries to lower the cabinet door, but it's stuck Tim takes a deep breath and makes a leap of death For the freezer, but he is spotted and they pounce Lex's raptor lunges after her reflection, wrong image Tim jumps for the walk-in as does the prehistoric falcon But the raptor slips and falls right past him Tim drags himself to his feet and locks its ass in Now the other raptor staggers to its feet And the kids looking back crash into Grant and Ellie They all race down the second floor corridor The door to the control room smacks open Grant races to lock it and drops his gun We can call for help, we've got to reboot the system first And a raptor rams itself against the door with all its force Lex knows the system, I've got to find the right file A box on the screen reads door integrity The door latch buzzes, raptor locked outside Phone, security systems, everything works, we got it

Grant, the children are alright, the children are fine The phones are back up, call the mainland Tell them to send the damn helicopters Three gunshots, a horrible clunking, and no answer Grant's rifle lies on the floor, smoking, shells spent Control room window has three huge impact shatter patterns An open panel leads the four of them to a crawl space A shower of glass as a raptor crashes just after they climb the ladder Dashing across the ceiling panels The raptors head smashes behind them snarling It drops down and they keep on forward crawling But now it erupts through a panel right before them Lex goes down with the raptor, spinning into the hole But Grant grabs her by the collar and she dangles The raptor springs, but no luck They scramble to the air duct They climb out to the visitor's center Among the dinosaur skeletons, they enter To the second platform, then the third They suddenly see a raptor standing to the side by the second floor railing They climb down a brachiosaur and the raptor watches Then flies out and snaps the skeleton's notches And they all spin in different directions The brachiosaur collapses like a house of cards The raptor tumbles in a cascade of splintering bone A second raptor joins in ahead a couple yards They crouch and near in their pre-attack stance

Tyrannosaurus rex's head descends from above A set of six foot jaws clamp down on the raptor Eighteen inch teeth sink into its side The helpless animal howls as it's lifted to the rafters Second raptor turns from the humans and lunges at rex Leaping twelve feet in the air and rending its flesh Rex bellows in pain and turns to the rap Eyes raging and rips last velociraptor in half Rex whirls around and smashes through skeleton Standing majestically in the middle of the lobby Draws itself up to its full height and roars Sound is deafening, leaving center walls wobbling The sign which dangled over the lobby falls dead It read, when dinosaurs ruled the earth

Sea Birds 05:32
Mr. Hammond, I've decided not to endorse your park After careful consideration, Dr. Grant, so have I Helicopter rotors whirl to life Two jeeps roar up next to it One by one, they climb aboard No one speaks, they take off immediately The helicopter soars over a vast plain The tyrannosaur still feeding on dino remains Looks up and roars, waving its little forearms at the chopper It's a moment of bewilderment and we almost feel sad for her Lex, Tim, Ellie, and Grant, survivors In the back of the helicopter, huddled together Grant looks out the window, over a huge flock of sea birds Feeding on a school of fish As the chopper roars near, it kicks up the flock Hundreds of birds sail off in all directions Powerful and graceful Grand looks at the birds and breaks into wide grin The birds reform as flock again and fly straight into the sun
